The annual Boxing Day 5km Fun run is back . The Star and Garter did an excellent job in hosting us last year and have kindly offered to do so again.
I know that this run is on some of the local running clubs' event lists, so it should be an enjoyable event.
Why not use it to run off those excess Christmas calories? As usual, we will be donating any profits to The Maggie Centre at The Christie Hospital Cancer care.
Entry this year is a donation to the charity, Maggie's Centre at The Christie Hospital. (£6.00 for club runners and £8.00 for everyone else). All profits from the race will go to this local charity which offers practical, emotional and social support to cancer patients at The Christie Hospital.
